About the Firm
Our client is a growing wealth management firm dedicated to delivering thoughtful financial guidance and exceptional client service. As the firm continues to grow, it is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager/Business Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage and support the team, and ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently filling in when necessary.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented leader with a strong sense of urgency who enjoys improving systems, supporting people, and helping a firm scale.

Position Overview
The Operations Manager/Business Manager will serve as the firm's organizational backbone, overseeing operations, supporting staff, and implementing systems to improve efficiency and client service.
This individual will work closely with firm leadership to take day-to-day operational responsibilities off the owner’s plate, allowing advisors to focus on client relationships and business development.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflows across the firm
  • Improve and document processes related to client service, onboarding, and account management
  • Manage operational systems, including CRM, custodial platforms, and internal procedures
  • Coordinate with custodians, broker-dealers, and third-party vendors
Team Leadership
  • Provide oversight and support to client service and administrative team members
  • Help establish accountability, priorities, and clear workflows
  • Foster a culture of responsiveness, professionalism, and high standards
Business Management
  • Track key operational metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist leadership with project management and implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Ensure operational compliance with industry policies and procedures
Client Service Oversight
  • Ensure high standards of client communication and service delivery
  • Support complex client service needs when necessary
Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management or financial services operations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and operate with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred
  • Experience working in an RIA, broker-dealer, or wealth advisory firm
  • FINRA licenses such as Series 7 and 66; or other acceptable combination
  • Experience with industry technology.
