Ensemble Service Advisor
Ensemble Financial Advisor
Baton Rouge, Louisiana | Wealth Management
A well-established, growing wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Ensemble Financial Advisor to join its advisory team. This is an opportunity for an advisor who enjoys the client relationship and financial planning aspects of wealth management and wants to work collaboratively alongside established advisors rather than build a practice entirely on their own.
The firm operates under an ensemble model, bringing advisors and specialists together to serve shared client relationships. The incoming advisor will help expand the firm's capacity to serve existing clients while becoming an integral member of the advisory team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who believes great advice is planning-led, relationship-driven and collaborative.
The Opportunity
The Ensemble Financial Advisor will work alongside experienced advisors to support and manage established client relationships. The role will participate throughout the client experience—from discovery and financial planning through ongoing advice, investment discussions and relationship management.
Rather than functioning as a traditional solo producer, this advisor will become part of a team that shares expertise, resources and responsibility for delivering an exceptional client experience.
Over time, the advisor will have the opportunity to assume greater responsibility for client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
-
Partner with senior advisors in the management and development of existing client relationships.
-
Prepare for and participate in client review, planning and strategy meetings.
-
Develop and update comprehensive financial plans based on clients' goals, priorities and changing circumstances.
-
Help clients understand complex financial concepts and translate recommendations into clear, actionable next steps.
-
Provide ongoing advice across areas including retirement planning, investments, cash flow, risk management, estate planning considerations and other wealth management needs.
-
Coordinate with internal team members and outside professionals to help provide comprehensive advice.
-
Monitor client plans and identify opportunities or issues requiring additional planning or advisor attention.
-
Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication and consistent follow-through.
-
Collaborate with other advisors and team members on shared client relationships.
-
Maintain accurate client records and adhere to firm and regulatory requirements.
-
Continue developing technical expertise and professional capabilities.
-
As experience and relationships develop, take on increasing responsibility for leading client relationships.
-
Participate appropriately in the firm's growth and relationship-development efforts.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have meaningful experience within the wealth management industry and understand both the technical and relationship sides of financial advice.
Preferred qualifications include:
-
Approximately 5+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management or a related advisory environment.
-
CFP® designation strongly preferred.
-
Series 7 and Series 66, or equivalent registrations, preferred.
-
Insurance licensing preferred or willingness to obtain as needed.
-
Strong financial planning knowledge and the ability to work through complex client situations.
-
Experience working directly with affluent or high-net-worth clients.
-
Comfort with financial planning and wealth management technology.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
The Right Fit
Technical capability matters, but so does how this individual works with others.
We're looking for someone who is:
-
Collaborative. You enjoy being part of a team and believe clients benefit when professionals bring different expertise to the table.
-
Client-first. You care about the relationship, not simply the transaction.
-
Planning-oriented. You enjoy understanding the client's complete financial picture and helping turn complexity into a clear strategy.
-
Humble and confident. You know your craft but are comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and learning from others.
-
Coachable. You welcome feedback and are interested in continuing to develop professionally.
-
Relationship-driven. You communicate well, listen carefully and genuinely enjoy working with clients.
-
Accountable. You take ownership, follow through and can be counted on by both clients and colleagues.
-
Growth-minded. You are interested in building a long-term career and gradually assuming greater responsibility within an established organization.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This firm offers something different from the traditional advisor model.
You don't have to choose between independence and collaboration. You'll work alongside experienced financial professionals, supported by established infrastructure, operational resources and a team committed to serving clients well.
For an advisor who loves planning, relationships and advice—but doesn't want success to depend entirely on building a book from scratch—this is an opportunity to do meaningful advisory work within an established and growing practice.
This is a confidential search. Additional information about the firm, team, compensation structure and opportunity will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.
